English 1010 2015 Fall Semester

Our first assignment in English 1010 was a rhetoric paper on a single word that we found in "the letter" by Martian Luthur King Jr. I choose "Time."

In English 1010 we had to write a position synthesis paper on one thing we felt passionately about. Since I had already incorporated Project Cycle into my Environmental Science class and partly in my Environmental Yoga class, I thought this would be a unique opportunity to write a paper on it as well. It would become a persuasion to anyone on the projects benefits using a "They say, I say" technique that was taught in this class. The first of which was to show the ethos (the personal feelings I have towards the subject) to emphasize my connection to the project and how I can relate on an emotional level to it in my personal narrative portion of the paper.

The second portion of the paper was the response portion. This portion was meant to show the ethos( the community) of the paper. To do this you have to show similar views on the persuasion in question from another besides your own. You were allowed one credible source and I choose Bill Nye.
